Fargo Youth Commission, Fargo, ND
An existing church was remodeled to accomodate a private educational latch key youth facility. Work included selection demolition of interior walls, enclosing the balcony, and upgrading interior finishes, mechanical and electrical systems. The youth center features a 2,230 square-foot multipurpose room with a 20’+ceiling, computer lab, library, lunch room, 1,500 square-foot second floor play area, kitchen, 675 square-foot table game room, staff offices, reception area, toilets and storage.

Scheels Daycare, Fargo, ND
Scheels hired R.L. Engebretson to design its 250,000 sf flagship store in Fargo. 60,000 sf of the facility is devoted to its corporate headquarters, which boasts offices, conference rooms with multi-media capabilities, employee training rooms, embroidery shop and display/presentation areas. The design also includes an employee fitness room with locker and shower facilities, and a day-care center. The Growing Kids Childcare Center controls 10, 850 sq ft of the facilities for employee use.
